Cebu Business Month 2009

Cebu Business Month aims to highlight, celebrate and inspire more successes in the Cebu business community through a month of relevant events and activities participated in by industry stakeholders from the Philippines and Asia. This year’s celebration carries the theme, ”Get Inspired!” to illustrate that even in times of crisis, inspired ideas, action and perseverance can result in business success.

Cebu Business Month Tourism this year adopts the theme “Explore Cebu!” and introduces P.E.O.P.L.E. (People Enhancing Opportunities, Propelling Leadership Excellence), a year-long forum featuring model entrepreneurs from all walks of life. The ICT track aims to put the ICT stakeholders together to celebrate Cebu’s declaration as the top emerging BPO destination in Asia and map out strategies to bring it to the level of “emerged” ICT investment destination. The Entrepreneurship Committee celebrates the successes of Cebu entrepreneurs and Philippine business icons in its major activities while showcasing their products and services in the month-long Shop & Dine Cebu. Other Cebu Business Month events include : Business in Golf and the Local Job Fair. Cebu Business Month 2009 shall culminate in the Grand Chamber Awards Night on June 30 at the Stage One, Ayala Center Cebu.
