How to Get There: Take a boat from Cebu City Pier 1 or Pier 4 approximately 2 hours to Tagbilaran City, Bohol. There are also daily flights from Manila to Tagbilaran City.

Beaches, Diving and Watersports:

• Alona Beach and Panglao Island: a short drive from Tagbilaran port; popular for its soft white sand beach; Alona Beach offers a large selection of resort, bars, and restaurants. Activities on Panglao include swimming, scuba, snorkeling, kayaking, island hopping, and other water sports.

Attractions:

• Chocolate Hills: Overlook these geological hill formations from its vantage point; considered one of the real wonders of the Philippines.
• Mag-Aso Waterfalls: Waterfalls just north of Tagbilaran City.
• Tarsiers Visitors Center: Where you can see, up close, one of the world’s smallest primates and definitely the cutest!
• Baclayon Church: One of the oldest stone churches in the Philippines

Tours:

• Island Van Tours: Tour operators are easy to find at the port area and through your hotel. These tours include a visit to the Chocolate Hills, Hanging Bridge, Tarsier Center, Baclayon Church, the Blood Compact Site Monument, Mandmade Forest, and the Loboc River Cruise. Prices are around P2,500 to P3,500 for an all day tour.
• Island Hopping Tours: Boats for rent are available from your hotel or along Alona Beach. You can go island hopping, dolphin watching, or picnicking on a deserted island! Prices are around P1,500 for up to 5 persons.
• Lunch Buffet on the Loboc River Cruise: Take a boat ride and have a buffet too! This unique experience takes you up and down the Loboc River on a floating restaurant. You can be a part of a group or rent the entire boat for yourself!
